He is survived by: his wife Pat Kessinger; his daughters, Mandy Hays (Chris), Carrie Barnes (Joe) and Tammy Vargas; his brothers, Gary Kessinger (Lisa), Mike Kessinger (Kay), Larry Kessinger (Kathy), Dennis Kessinger (Debbie) and Benny Kessinger (Marquetta); his grandchildren, Eli Hays (Hannah) and Chloe Barnes (Palemon Clay); and his great grandchild Ellie Hays.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory (519 Locust St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
