He was predeceased by: his parents, Litle Bates and Mary Jane Rickard; and his brother Stevie Dewain Rickard. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Joan Vincent Rickard; his sons, Jason Rickard and Eric Rickard (Michelle); his grandchildren, Helen, Lily and Lucas; his brother Tony Rickard (Carol); and his nieces and nephews, Kelly Joe Holland, Kennedy "Duck" Holland and Kim Cottrell.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (603 Everly Brothers Blvd, Central City, KY 42330).
