Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Shirley for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse James "Jimmy" Snodgrass and Olevia J. Jones Snodgrass; her husband William Ode Markwell; her children, Shelia Ann Baum, Shirley Jean Reed, Debra Faye Markwell and Roger Dale Markwell; and her siblings, Stella Douglas and Joseph Delmer "Bud" Snodgrass.
She is survived by: her son James Ode "Bo" Markwell of Murray, KY; and her sister Nell Meguiar of Auburn, KY. She is also survived by seven granddaughters; five grandsons; many great grandchildren as well as many great-great-grandchildren.
