She was predeceased by: her parents, Porter Bunch and Dorothy Dadisman Bunch; her husband Eugene "Gene" Simpson; and her brother Darrell Bunch. She is survived by: her sons, Doug Simpson (Cathy) of Bloomfield and Greg Simpson (Karen) of Owensboro. She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Houghlin Funeral Home (119 Fairfield Hill Rd, Bloomfield, KY 40008). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hospice of Nelson County.
