He was predeceased by : his parents, Arnold Sanders and Thelma Jeanette Stidham Sanders; and his nephew Bryan Carroll. He is survived by : his siblings, Carlotta Sanders of Chavies, KY, Ginger Carroll of Chavies, KY and Anthony Sanders (Kaye) of Krypton, KY; and his niece Jessica Carroll.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Chavies First Church of God (185 Hunter Dr, Hazard, KY 41701). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
