He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Whitworth and Leona Clark Whitworth; his siblings, Darrell Whitworth and Anna Lee Whitworth; his niece Kalyn Whitworth; and his nephew Brian Whitworth.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Portman Whitworth; his sons, Lance Whitworth and Brandon Whitworth (Savannah); his siblings, Eugene (Cindy), Jimmie (LouAnn), Donnie (Paula), Michael Whitworth (Michelle), Doris Raymer (Dwight) and Carolyn McGee (Rusty); his sister-in-law Lynetta Whitworth; his extended family, Bobby, Chrystal Fuqua, Brandon, Casey Milliner, Adam and Autumn Thomas; Kash, Briar, Bronson, Liam, Ada, Asher, Dustin, Alisha Tucker, Bo, Adler, Elle, Doug, Autumn Milliner, Josey, Summer Stinnett, Josh, Brooke Cooley and Harper.
Byron had a great love for children so in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Saint Paul Catholic School.
