He was predeceased by: his parents, Shelby Bell and Elizabeth Dunn Bell. He is survived by: his wife Diana Smith Bell; his children, Charlcy Bell and Jeff Bell (Michelle); his grandchildren, Aaron Bell, Ryan Bell, Kristen Benham (Adam) and Lauren Collins; his great grandchildren, Adalyn and Brooks Benham; and his sisters, Mary Jane Butler and Shelby Jean Quiggins. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church (2676 Rock Creek Rd, Clarkson, KY 42726).
