It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Thomas Riggs of Clarkson, Kentucky, who passed away on September 8, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Riggs and Ava Smith Riggs; his son Larry Dale Riggs; and his siblings, Lillard, Curtis Riggs, Joyce Reeves, Mami Stillwell and Brenda Powell.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Donna Goodman (Jeremy) and Brian Riggs (Tina); his grandchildren, Chandra Hornback, Jordan, Caleb Riggs, Jessica McKinney (Todd), Jarrett Goodman (Kennedi) and Jenna Goodman; his great grandchild Jayden Garner; his sister Jeanette Cook; and his sister-in-law Brenda Riggs.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dermitt Funeral Home (306 W Main St, Leitchfield, KY 42755). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
