He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Edward Alvey, Sr. and Myrtle Patterson Hazelgrove. He is survived by: his son Richard "Rick" Alvey of Sheridan, Indiana; his grandchildren, Graciana Alvey of Sheridan and Nicholas Alvey of Avon, Indiana; and his siblings, Tom Alvey of Whiteland, Indiana and Rosemary Buchanan of Noblesville, Indiana. He is also survived by several other extended family members and friends.
