She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wesley "Charlie" and Ada Mae Hayes Williams; her husbands, Chesteen Anthony Gibson and Donald Armes; her children, Karan Gibson and Byran "Buck" Gibson; her granddaughter Kristi Carwile; and her siblings, Johnnie Williams, Margaret Evans, Verna Haycraft and Eva Higdon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Sue Harris (Garry) and Loretta Loveda Carwile (Joseph); her grandchildren, Garry R. Harris, Megan Harris, Aaron Harris, Matthew Carwile, Kelsey Carwile and Ellen Maples; her sisters, Carrie Wolard, Mary Mae Alvey, Betty Jean Cain and Lizzie Faye Williams; and her stepchildren, Sandy Sanders and Terry Armes. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
