He is survived by: his children, Charles Spangler Jr., Michael Spangler (Lisa), Steven Spangler (Jodi), Cheryl Griffett (Bobby), Jesse Spangler and Amy Berryman (Ben); and his brother Ernest Spangler (Sarah). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home (777 W College Ave, Stanton, KY 40380). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
