It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edrah Faye Hurt of Clay City, Kentucky, born in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on June 27, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Hoskins and Ethel Hoskins; her husband Hobert Hurt; her daughter Yvonne Hurt; her daughter-in-law Kathy Hurt; and her brothers, Farrell and Egbert Hoskins.
She is survived by: her children, Ernest Morgan Hurt of Clay City and Vivian Powell (Montford) of Clay City; and her brother Woodson Hoskins of Hazard. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren.
