He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carpenter and Dorothy Carpenter; his son Andrew Carpenter; and his brother Lonnie Carpenter. He is survived by: his children, Casey Carpenter of Mt. Sterling and Shellie Carpenter of Winchester; and his siblings, William Carpenter (Diane) of Owingsville, Ritchie Carpenter (Patty) of Owingsville, Carolyn Elliott of Mt. Sterling and Shirley Turley of Mt. Sterling. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
