He was predeceased by: his parents, Essie Marie Carroll (Prince) and Grady Carroll; his brother Matthew Carroll; and his niece Stephanie Rix. He is survived by: his daughter Emily Ann Carroll; his siblings, James Brian Carroll, Susan Gilbee and Cherie Danell; his nieces and nephews, John Gilbee, Sarah Gilbee Nielsen, Sydney, Carroll Michael Darnell and David Darnell; and his girlfriend Jo Epperson. He is also survived by his mother, aunts and uncles, and cousin.
