It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Woosley of Clay City, Kentucky, who passed away on October 19, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Martha's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Martha has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Scott Aldridge and Carrie Vina Mae Strange; her husband Ealie Gordon Woosley, Jr.; her son Warren Scott Bailey; and her sister Gracie McPherson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jessie Louise Jordan (Patrick) of Stanton, KY, Carrie Ann Bailey (Phillip Grizzle) of Glasgow, KY, Barbara Chapman (Ed) of Manchester, TN, Diana Bailey (Steve Dudek) of Springhill, TN and Ruby Reid of Argyle, TX. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel (109 E Main St, Mt Sterling, KY 40353). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at the Machpelah Cemetery (600 E Locust St, Mt Sterling, KY 40353).
