He was predeceased by: his parents, William Davis and Pauline "Polly" Crowe Davis; his sister Vonda Kaye Tipton; and his grandsons, William Phillip Davis and Jacob Michael Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Janet Davis; his children, Michael Shane Davis and Christy Walters (Audra) of Clay City; his grandchildren, Kristin Deann Farmer (Brandon), Jesse Vance Davis, Megan Brooke Haynes (Jared Wallen), Ocean Taylor Coon (Cole), Lakelyn Paige Powell, Katelyn Rayne Castle (Jeremy) and Audrey Lynn Slone; and his great grandchildren, Zaiden Kirby, Madison Frazier, Adaira Wallen, Jaylin Wallen, Lydia Farmer, Kimber Farmer and Amelia Farmer.
