He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Morris Capps and Helen Joyce Capps; and his brother Dennis Wayne Capps. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Capps of Clay, KY; his children, Michael Don Capps (Yvette) of Murray, KY, Todd Capps (Kim) of Madisonville, KY and Lyndsey Penrod (Shaun) of Diamond, KY; his grandchildren, Bryce (Amanda), Tristan, Hailey (Mitchell), Colton and Morgan (Abby); his sisters, Debbie Villines (Van) of St. Louis, MO and Sheila Capps of Hopkinsville, KY; his siblings-in-law, Donna (Rich) and Davy (Chip); and his daughter-in-law Shelly. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Townsend Funeral Home (140 US-41 ALT, Dixon, KY 42409). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
