We are sad to announce that, on April 29, 2026, at the age of 58, Christy Marie Whitsell (Clay, Kentucky), born in Madisonville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Christy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her son Wesley Blake Whitsell. She is survived by: her daughter Samantha Campbell; her son-in-law Bryan; her parents, Jim Gooch and Alta Gooch of Providence; her brothers, Shawn D. Williams (Diana) of Minnesota and Michael R. Gooch (Rachel) of Providence; and her son Robert Tyler Whitsell.
