He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Lovell and Gertie Lovell; and his siblings, Tony, Jacky Lovell, Vickie Holeman, Marcia Lovell, Pauline Yates, Bobbie Wynn and Irene Moman.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Lovell of Clay, KY; his children, Jeremy Lovell (Jenny) of Morganfield, KY, Josh Tapp (Amanda) of Morganfield, KY, Derek Tapp (Ashley) of Wisconsin and Heather Burke (Tommy) of Uniontown, KY.; his grandchildren, Anissa Mosley (Justin), Madison Burke, Olivia Burke, Brayden Thomas-Haynes (Tyler), Emma, Jace, Brian, Johnathan, Isaac and Hayden Tapp; and his siblings, Michael Lovell of Robards, KY, James Lovell of Marion, IL., Laura Gross of Uniontown, KY, Ann Heavrin of Henshaw, KY and Marie Hanks of Harvey, IL.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Whitsell Funeral Home - Morganfield (250 N Court St, Morganfield, KY 42437). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
