She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Harris and Hattie Glore Harris; her husband J. C. Smith; her siblings, Elmer Harris, Tom Harris, Milburn Harris, Jack Harris, Carroll Harris and Billie Travis; and her children-in-law, Jean Smith and David Lindsey.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Meazle, Rama Lindsey, Thelma Morgan, Beverly Alexander, Toni Jones and Johnny Smith; and her niece Kara Harris. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home (301 N Broadway St, Providence, KY 42450). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Barnett-Strother - Providence Chapel (301 N Broadway St, Providence, KY 42450).
