He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacy Sr. Deaton and Amanda Shoemaker Deaton; his former wife Katherine Magee Deaton; and his siblings, Lacy Deaton Jr., Phillip Deaton and Anna Lee Deaton.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Faye Deaton of Clayhole; his daughters, Jill D. Hatton (Shane) of Winchester and Jana Gilbert (Ricky) of Nicholasville Ky; his grandchildren, John Ross Gilbert, Leah Gilbert and Kaylee Hatton; and his sisters-in-law, Arbedella Campbell Deaton and Linda Hatton Deaton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces & nephews, great-great-nieces & nephews, other family members, and dear friends.
