He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Dean Basford Hamilton; his children, Alexander Hamilton Jr. of Morehead, Samuel Hamilton of Morehead, Justin Hamilton of Morehead, Jonathan Hamilton (Heather) of Garrison, Larry Hamilton of Morehead, Tracey Hamilton of Clearfield, Jennifer Stanley (Tommy) of Prestonsburg and Carrie Fritts (Jordan) of Prestonsburg; his grandchildren, Joshua Hamilton, Sarah Renee Fritts, Courtney Heaberlin, Amanda Williams (Cody) and Chris Stanley (Jessika); his great grandchildren, Auri Stanley and Evie Stanley; his siblings, Kay Anthony of Illinois, Conie Perry of Greenup, Bonnie Lou Hamilton-Skruggs of Morehead, Jay Hamilton (Betty) of Paris, Robert Hamilton of Morehead and Elwood Hamilton Jr. (Kim) of Morehead; and his close friend Jerry Muse of Clearfield.
