He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie T. Hamm and Flora M. Hamm; his wife Mary Louise Koski; and his siblings, Gene Hamm, Betty Carpenter, Jolene Bentley, Charles Hamm, Marie Reddecliff and Peggy Miller.
He is survived by: his sister Virginia Reynolds; his children, John Paul Hamm (Kim Lambert), Robert Gene Hamm (Linda Hamm) and Mary Beth Armstrong (Tommy Armstrong); and his granddaughters, Chelsea Armstrong, Megan Armstrong and Kristen Hamm Sharma (Vijyesh Sharma). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and in-laws.
