She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Sam Slusher and Lizzie Pettit Slusher; husband: Walter Forman; children: Anita Broomall, Diana (Mitch) Hatton, Jean (John) Mahaney, Lisa (Brent) Back, and Eric (Sarah) Forman; grandchildren: Michael (Lauren) Broomall, Risa (Danny) Shafer Boyd, Chris (Megan Wallace) Shafer, Jade Shafer Jones, Collin Alexander, Canon Mahaney, Braden (Ashley) Back, Cade Back, Piper Back, Cory Forman, Emily (Spencer) Wadlington, and Nora Forman; great grandchildren: Hayley Boyd, Camron Boyd, Audrey Jones, Gretta Jones, Brennix Alexander, and Evelyn Back; other parents of grandchildren: Jennifer Forman, Will Alexander, and Bruce Broomall; special friend: Lynda Reynolds; and all her church and volunteer family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Northcutt & Son Home For Funerals (400 Fraley Dr, Morehead, KY 40351). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the Crix Cemetery Crix Cemetery. Mabel began working with the RSVP volunteers at the school board office in August of 2019, but she began volunteering for Rowan County schools and our community long before that.
