He was predeceased by: his parents, Merton Clair Cooper and Clara Iva Webster Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Agnes Sunde Cooper; his daughters, Brenda Cooper of Irmo, Rhonda Poe (Cliff) of Mt. Dora and Michelle Head (Larry) of Melbourne, Florida; and his siblings, Dennis Cooper of Savannah, Georgia, Bonnie Moore (Louie) of Columbia and Cheryl Cooper of Savannah, Georgia. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, extended family, his church family, and many friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fellowship Baptist Church (1973 McBrayer Rd, Clearfield, KY 40313).
