Velma touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Velma may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Velma touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Wages and Mary Garland Wages; her daughter Antonia June Banks Hickey of Shelbyville, Indiana; and her siblings, Archie Wages of Mason, Tennessee and Patricia Wages Barrett of Clearfield.
She is survived by: her sister Sondra Wages Peach (Larry) of Franklin, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Matthew Morris of Shelbyville and Caitlin Morris of Clearfield; and her nephew Joe Barrett of Clearfield. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews and friends.
