He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy M. Erwin (Alderdice) and Harry D. "Red" Erwin. He is survived by: his wife Holly (Dunham); and his children, Charles W. Erwin II of Hillsboro, OR and Kathleen E. Hopper (Scott) of Jackson, TN..
