She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert "Hub" Cole and Thelma Lee Carter Cole; her husband Orville "Popi" Burgess, Jr.; her grandson Clayton Trent Burgess; and her siblings, Helen Lee Hudson, Virginia Ann Cobb, Jim Cole, Johnny Cole and Boyd Carter Cole.
She is survived by: her sons, Orville Burgess III (Glenda) of Clinton and Tim Burgess (Lori) of Clinton; her grandchildren, Kayla Deweese (Deke), Josh Burgess (Ella), Jarrod Burgess (Holly), Tyler Burgess and Dylan Burgess (Breeanna); and her great grandchildren, Eli Deweese, Parker Deweese, Blair Deweese, Pace Burgess, Brooklyn, Cooper Burgess, Ralyn, Carter Burgess, Carson and Crew Burgess.
