With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Valerie Sevene of Clinton, Kentucky, who passed away on December 29, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred H. Place and Elodia E. Cramer-Putnam; her grandson Scott A. Latterell, Jr.; her sister Shiela J. Centerbar; and her stepson Lee C. Sevene.
She is survived by: her husband Theodore L. Sevene; her children, Brandon N. Lamphere (Dawn Lamphere) of Vermont, Oran L. Lamphere of North Carolina and Tammy L. Lavalette of Vermont; her stepson Larry Sevene (Angela Boardman Sevene) of New Hampshire; and her brothers, Rosaire Badger (Karen Badger) of Florida and Varian Miles of California.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to New Harmony Baptist Church, 73 Brent Road, Clinton, Ky 42031, in Valerie's memory.
