It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laverne Guffey of Cloverport, Kentucky, who passed away on November 28, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles "Fritz" Fulkerson of Cloverport and Belva Jane Fulkerson (Smith) of Cloverport; and her son Donald Anthony "Tony" Guffey. She is survived by : her children, Eddie Poole (Angie) of Cloverport and Sadeana Viner (Hatfield) of Iowa; her siblings, James "Lester" Fulkerson and Delilah "Ann" DeWitt (Fulkerson); her nieces, Jennifer McStoots (DeWitt), Brandy Ball (Fulkerson) and Melinda Schaaf (DeWitt); and her grandchildren, Kyle Poole, Lucian DeWitt, Alexa, Aireal Poole, Dimitri Zarate, Macy, Kobe, Brylee Viner, Morgann, Katelynn, Jack and Jacky Guffey. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to help cover funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.
