With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Johnnie Lee Saylor of Coldiron, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 30, 2025 at the age of 79. As we bid Johnnie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Johnnie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his father Joseph; his wife Lillie Mae Saylor; his daughter Melanie Renee Saylor; and his siblings, Carr B., Harold, Radford, Earl Saylor and Verlin Faye Zugay.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Johnson (Jeff) of Newbern, TN; and his sister Kaye Nolan (Murphy) of Coldiron. He is also survived by six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; he leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
