He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmer Lee and Arleter Burton; and his siblings, Frankie Burton, Jackie Burton, Randal Burton and Captoila Burton.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Rodgers Burton of Columbia One; his children, Darrin Burton (Tangie), Becky Burton of Indiana and Danna Burton of Columbia One; and his siblings, William Burton (Rosie) of Columbia Two, Shelia Burton of Columbia and Deborah Burton Bryant (Danny) of Columbia.
