He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Stinson and Gracie Compton Stinson; and his siblings, Cecil Stinson and Opal Stone. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Burris Stinson of Portland One; his children, Ronald Stinson (Bridget) of Cane Valley One and Melinda Willis (Leslie) of Portland Two; his sisters, Frances Janes of Milltown and Elizabeth Curry of Elizabethtown; his grandchildren, Dustin Willis, Shaun Willis, Nathaniel Grant (Amber), Bonnie Hausdorfer (Zach) and Tasha Lane (A. J.); and his great grandchildren, Aubrey Willis, Zoey Grant, Alex Grant, Dixon Cary, Aiden Hausdorfer and Hadlee Hausdorfer.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grissom-Martin Funeral Home (200 Campbellsville St, Columbia, KY 42728). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to Tarter's Chapel Cemetery Fund which can be left at the funeral home.
