He is survived by: his significant other Joyce Richards; his children, Jennifer Coffey Smith (Sam) of Richmond, KY and Chris Coffey (Joscelyn) of Columbia, KY; his grandchildren, Shawn Smith (Lauren) and Cheyayne Thrasher (Jason); his stepgrandchildren, Libbie and Josiah Smith; his great grandchildren, Theo Smith, Shepherd Smith and Jace Rooks; his sisters, Judy Stephens (Kyle) and Linda Smith (Ricky); and his brother-in-law Wayne Irvin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home (210 Greensburg St, Columbia, KY 42728). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
