She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Burton and Addie Lee Irvin Burton; and her son Michael Cowan. She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Cowan of Columbia One; her children, Scott Cowan (Angela) of Columbia, Cody Hunter Cowan of Columbia Two, Julie Avery (Sam) of Columbia One and Jennie Snider (Chris Darnell) of Columbia One; her brother Gerald Burton of Columbia Five; and her grandchildren, Tyler Cowan, Trevor Cowan, Amber Cowan, Devin Richardson and Alexia Snider.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Grissom-Martin Funeral Home (200 Campbellsville St, Columbia, KY 42728). A graveside service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bearwallow Cemetery.
