She was predeceased by: her husband Cashius Ray Beard; her parents, George Edmund Beard and Gertrude Beard Kelsay; and her brothers, James Houston Beard, Charles Thomas Beard and William Frank Beard.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa McGilton (Kenneth) of Columbia, Danny Beard of Columbia and Audie Beard of Columbia; and her siblings, Randall Lee Beard (Bea) of Mooresville, George Beard Jr. (Pat) of Belton, Donald Owen Beard of Columbia, Linda Ann Bennett (Ricky) of Columbia and Reva Jane Taylor (Doug) of Columbia.
