It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Louise Grant of Columbia, Kentucky, who passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Ray and Ruth Ellen Wilson Grider; her husbands, Edgar Scott and Joe Grant; and her siblings, Dan Grider, Norene Grider and James A. Grider.
She is survived by: her siblings, Juanita Grider McKinney of Columbia, KY, Bernice Grider Rooks (Mitchell) of Columbia, KY, Ed Grider of Columbia, KY, Doug Grider (Lynn) of Columbia, KY and Alene Stone of Summitville, IN; and her nephew Chris Rooks.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home (210 Greensburg St, Columbia, KY 42728). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
