He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Miller and Dora Helen Bennett Thompson; and his sister Janice Kay Appleby. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Thompson of Columbia, KY; his children, Toby Thompson (Leanna) of Columbia, KY, Crystal Wright (Michael) of Columbia, KY and Joni Thompson of Cario, GA; his stepchildren, Andrew Franklin (Lindsay) of Campbellsville, KY and Kyle Franklin (Maribeth) of Kuttawa, KY; his grandchildren, William Thompson, Tyler Wright, Alex Wright, Jayla Franklin, McKenna Franklin, Halle Franklin, Anniston Franklin, Maddie Franklin, Hannah Franklin, Sierra Armstrong and Addison Armstrong; his great grandchild Bentley Burton; and his siblings, Tony Thompson (Scotty) of Sparksville, KY, Diana Roy (Nick) of Glensfork, KY and Stacy Corbin of Bowling Green, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
