With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rowena Johnson of Columbia, Kentucky, born in Hyden, Kentucky, who passed away on March 19, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Taylor and Mary Smith Taylor. She is survived by: her children, Chester Maggard of Columbia, James Maggard of Glens Fork, Joe Maggard of Columbia, Edna Powell Winters of Columbia and Marie Brown of Corinth, Kentucky.; and her grandchildren, Rodney Maggard, Melissa Hamilton, Clint Maggard, Jason Maggard and Doug Maggard. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren Several other relatives and friends.
