She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Hughes and Bessie Curry Hughes; her husband Jerry Lee Smith; her son Jarrid DeCarlo "Bam" Smith; and her siblings, Charles Hughes, Eugene "Dukie" Hughes, Chester Hughes, Danny Hughes, Geraldine Miller and Brenda Hughes.
She is survived by: her sons, Shayne Smith of Bardstown, Aundrae Smith (Faye) of Columbia and Darrin "Speedy" Smith of Columbia One; and her siblings, Joyce Bradshaw of Columbia Two, Kenny Hughes of Columbia Six and Glen "Dagwood" Hughes of Columbia Six. She is also survived by Six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
