He was predeceased by: his wife Missy Hatcher Grider; and his grandparents, O. E., Margaret Grider, David and Martha Caldwell.
He is survived by: his daughter Paige Grider Scott (Noah) of Columbia; his parents, Tommy Grider and Marsha Caldwell Grider of Columbia; and his sister Julie Grider Tucker (Chris) of Danville.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the Green River Animal Shelter, which can be left at the funeral home.
