It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zella Mae Monroe of Columbia, Kentucky, who passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bascom Lewis and Minnie Marie Lewis; her husband Harold Kenneth Monroe, Jr.; and her siblings, Leona and William Reo Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Monroe (Randy Curry) of Columbia, KY, Mary Beth Monroe of Columbia, KY and Harold Kenneth Monroe III (Nickie) of Lawrenceburg, KY; her grandchildren, Russell Lewis Curry and Katie Monroe; her siblings, Albert Lewis of Columbia, KY, Larry Lewis (Nancy) of West Liberty, KY, Charles Lewis (Nancy) of West Liberty, KY, Joe Lewis of West Liberty, KY, Patricia Ratliff (Bob) of West Liberty, KY and Alice Robinson (Mike) of Hazel Green, KY; her niece Tasha Reuter; and her nephews, Brent Ratliff and Zion Walton.
