It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alfred Dwight Barnett of Corbin, Kentucky, who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Barnett and Edith Barnett (Taylor); and his brother Doyle Barnett. He is survived by: his wife Linda Barnett; and his siblings, Fredia Yantz, Carl Barnett and Harold Barnett (Lena). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other precious family members.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Poplar Grove Baptist Church (2322 N Kentucky 830, Corbin, KY 40701). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
