He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd "Joe" Mills and Susie Mills; his daughter Jennifer Sky Murphy; his granddaughter Whitney Kendall Bingham; and his brother Gillis Smith.
He is survived by: his pets, Brookie and Redbone; his children, Amos Mills (Angela) of Corbin, Melissia "Missy" Jordan (Wayne Dozier) and Mickey June Bingham (Wilbert) of Scalf; his grandchildren, Kimberly Brown (Chris), Amberly Jordan, Caitlyn Gibson (Nicholas), Justin Bingham, Logan Mills, Porter Mills, Charity Helton, James Helton and Keyley Mills; his great grandchildren, Paisley Brown, Kinsley Brown, Emmalee Brown, Gracelyn Brown and Trace Jordan; his sister Wittie Swafford of Scalf; his aunt Betty Sue Mills of Corbin; and his nieces, Patricia Mills, Angela Bargo, Sandy Smith and Betty Jackson. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
