He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Fred Sr. Barnett and Cora Brown Barnett; and his brother Fred Jr.. He is survived by: his sons, Ransom and Maxwell Barnett; his sister Mary Maxine Hutton (Roger); his sibling's children, Rebecca McCoy (Keith) and Roger Hutton (Tiffani); and his great-nephews, Braxton Hubbs, Joshua McCoy and Mason Hutton. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
