He is survived by: his wife Janet Smallwood; his son Billy Smallwood, Jr.; and his siblings, Lee Smallwood (Betty), Matt Smallwood (Coralee), Don Smallwood, June Ramsey (Larry), Joyce Roaden (Dennis), Bernie Smallwood (Sandy), Gary Smallwood (Linda) and Kenny Smallwood (Tonia). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hart Funeral Home (1011 Master St, Corbin, KY 40701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hart Funeral Home Chapel (1011 Master St, Corbin, KY 40701).
