He was predeceased by: his parents, R. C. Bruce and Grace Bruce. He is survived by: his son Don Bruce (Cathy) of Mandeville, Louisiana; his stepdaughters, Vickie Hart (Steve) of Corbin and Tina Kihara of California; his grandchildren, Kelly Bruce Glynn (Stephané), Emily Bruce Cangelosi (Keith) of Baton Rouge, Tyler Hart (Heather) of Corbin and Travis Hart (Caitlin) of Corbin, Kentucky; his siblings, Peggy Bruce of Corbin, Kentucky and Don Bruce of Colorado; and his close friend Dewayne Turner. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
