He was predeceased by: his father Donald William "Bill" Settles; his stepfather Wayne Cheek; and his grandparents, Glenn Settles, Maggie Morris, Fred and Dorothy White.
He is survived by: his wife Chasity Settles (Elmore) of Corbin, KY; his children, Allen Settles (Jen), Nichole Settles (Chris), Erica Settles, William Fish and Robert Fish; his mother Roberta Cheek (White); his siblings, Betty Frazier (Rick), Doreen Mitchell (Bob), Donna Lanahan (Doug), Kim Lavorno (Scott) and Donald Settles Jr. (Illeana); and his grandchildren, Alyssa Weiler, Luna Makela, Tyler Fish, Dawsin Fish and Easton Settles.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center (300 US 31 S, Greenwood, IN 46142). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
