He was predeceased by: his parents, Taylor Hampton and Anna Lee Asher Hampton. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Smith Hampton; his daughter Lavon Marie Miller (Robert); his grandchildren, Collin Ray Goley, Kaylee Marie Miller, Tara Nicole Miller, Patrick Ryan Miller and Reiley Ann Miller; his great grandchild Greyson Lee Rudolph; and his siblings, Mary Rose Pursiful (Wallace), Henry David Hampton (Susan), Robert V. Hampton (Susan T.), James Hampton (Jane), Raymond Hampton (Judy), Morris Hampton (Pam), Darrell Hampton (late Felicia), Darlene Cox (Robert) and Cathy Jones (Rick). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, those in attendance must wear masks.
