We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2025, at the age of 65, Carl Cornett (Corbin, Kentucky), born in Lebanon, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Carl leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Paul Cornett and Delia Maggard Cornett; and his wife Elizabeth Ann Buell Cornett. He is survived by: his son Shane Joe Cornett of London; his stepson Kyle Sturgill of London; his brothers, Kenneth Wade Cornett of Lexington and Paul Darren Cornett of Lily, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Megan Hall, DaKota Cornett, Logan Cornett and Shane Joe Cornett, Jr.; and his great grandchild Bailey Lynn Hall.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cumberland Memorial Gardens (5970 US-25, Corbin, KY 40701).
